17 Places to Sell Your Land For The Highest Possible Price

It’s important as a land professional that you know where to sell your land. If you have a piece of land, it’s important to showcase your property.

Each of these places to sell your land come with a different strategy. Some require a time or financial commitment to make happen.

Investing in Land is one of the best ways to build up cash reserves and passive income. My overall strategy has been to flip it for quick cash or sell it for owner financing.

1. Email Buyer’s List

There a couple ways to build your buyer’s list. As you get inquiries on your land, you can manually put them on your buyer’s list. This is the tried and true way. As you get inquiries on your land, you can sell your land more easily over time.

You can also use SEO to rank your website higher. You can put an opt in form on your website to collect emails. There is a lot of competition in this area. If you can build a listing website with blog articles, it can be a way to get emails for free.

Another way to increase your buyer’s list is to pay for advertising to get potential buyers on your email list. There are a couple ways to get advertising. Some of the most popular platforms are with Google and Facebook Ads. There are social media platforms that can also do this. You can also buy ad space from land selling websites.

As you build your land business, it’s important that you kept this practice. Once you get to 1000 emails. You greatly increase your chance of selling property that you own.

2. MLS

This is where you use a Realtor to help you sell your land. There are also discount real estate services that will allow you to sell your land for a fee.

They syndicate to LotFlip, FarmFlip, RanchFlip, AuctionFlip, and CommercialFlip. They do have requirements on what types of properties you will be able to syndicate to.

5. Land Century

Land investors and Real Estate agents have been using Land Century to make sales. This is a single site. It’s one of the most affordable options out on the market.

6. Landmodo

This was a website started by a land investor. If you sign up, you will also have access to wholesale properties as well. I’ve found them to be a fixed bag. You will need to do your own due diligence on any property that you buy on the site.

There are a lot of options on owner financing, so it works a little bit better with lower priced land. It you pay for a plan, you will also have a chance to get on a newsletters that advertise your land on their buyer’s list.

7. Facebook Marketplace

Facebook Marketplace is like the new Craigslist. Facebook has made a place where you can sell all types of properties. It’s been generating more interest because of the volume of people on Facebook.

There is a Real Estate section that you can post land on. You will get inquiries mostly from Facebook Messenger. There are a lot of tire kickers, but you will get a lot more emails if you ask for them. This can be a good place to build your email list and get a potential sale.

There is a payment that you have to make for putting it on auction. Some buyers end up never going through with the purchase. So, be careful with who bids on your property. There are settings you can use so that a fly by night doesn’t bid on your property.
